Back in 2018 we were aware that BT intended to decommission the only phone box in the village, at the bottom of Manor Park Rise.

We considered the different ways in which we could make best use of the site, and having previously discussed the need for a Defibrillator in the village, decided that it would be the perfect place to house one, placing it roughly in the middle of the village.

The existing Phone box was looking worse for wear to say the least, so we looked into replacing it with the far more pleasing traditional red box of years gone by.

After a long and surprisingly long process, the box and defibrillator were installed this year, hopefully making the village an even safer place to be!
